WEDNESDAY MORNING KNITTING GROUP
Time: Wed. 10am -12pm 
Cost: $10
Instructor: Staff
Description: Come take a seat at the table, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and have access to a staff knitter who can give you help on your project, teach a technique or help you problem solve. Get answers to your questions, make progress on your projects and learn from each other. We've been meeting all year, and explored a number of issues and techniques, not necessarily all to do with knitting! We welcome newcomers anytime, come in and join us!
 
BEGINNING / INTERMEDIATE
Time: Thursday, Feb 11, 18, 25 & Mar 4, 10-12
Cost: $60 + Materials

Description: This class if for people ages 8 and up who want to learn to knit as well as for those who know the basics and want to continue to develop. The class will cover knitting, purling, ribbing, increasing, decreasing, fixing mistakes, casting on, binding off and reading patterns. Cabling, beginning lace and colorwork can also be included. This class can be tailored to the participants. Limited to 7 people.
Supplies: Please bring your own knitting needles.
 
BEGINNING / INTERMEDIATE
Time: Monday 5:30-7:30, Mar 1, 8, 22 & 29
Cost: $60 + Materials

Description: This class if for people ages 8 and up who want to learn to knit as well as for those who know the basics and want to continue to develop. The class will cover knitting, purling, ribbing, increasing, decreasing, fixing mistakes, casting on, binding off and reading patterns. Cabling, beginning lace and colorwork can also be included. This class can be tailored to the participants. Limited to 7 people.

GELATO FELTED BAG
Time: Sat. February 20, 1-3 pm
Cost: $25 ($40 for Felted Bag & Flowers) + Materials
Instructor: Sarah Tremaine
Description: Learn to knit and felt this festive spring bag. Participants should already know how to knit and purl. The perfect fashion accessory! Limit 7 students.
 
FELTED FLOWERS
Time: Sat. February 27, 1-3 pm
Cost: $25 ($40 for Felted Bag & Flowers) + Materials
Instructor: Sarah Tremaine & Cate Bulger
Description: Learn to knit and felt Noni Design flowers – Camellias, or pick a different flower before the meeting. You will learn how to knit short rows. Limit 7 students.
 
EASTER BASKET/BOWL
Time: Sat. March 6. 1-3 pm
Cost: $25 + Materials
Instructor: Sarah Tremaine
Description: Learn to knit a bowl – with or without handles for a lovely Spring/ Easter basket to hold your eggs, fruits, dressing-table items – a lovely gift.

ELIZABETH ZIMMERMAN'S BABY SURPRISE JACKET
Time: Thurs. Feb 25, Mar 11 & 18, 5:30-7:30pm
Cost: $50 + Materials
Instructor: Rachel Williamson
Description: Learn many new skills by making the Elizabeth Zimmerman Baby Surprise Jacket with Rachel. The class will take place over 3 sessions where you will learn about gauge, following a pattern, increasing and decreasing, making mitred corners, picking up stitches, seaming, buttons, buttonholes, and neck edgings. This is a great class for anyone wishing to venture beyond hats and scarves for a smaller sweater project.
Supplies: Schoolhouse Press Pattern #5, Adult, Baby, Child Surprise Jacket. 400-500 yds. yarn with appropriate sized needles. Choose yarn thickness for size desired. fingering/sock weight (6.25 st/in) for 14"-15" chest size DK weight (5.5 st/in) for 15-16" chest Worsted wt. (5 st/in) for 18-19" chest Aran wt. (4-4.5 st/in) 21-22" chest Bulky weight (3.5 st/in) 24'-26" chest (10% discount for all materials purchased for class)
Pre-class Homework: Prepare gauge swatch. Cast on 20-30 st. using appropriate needles and work in garter stitch for 4 inches, Bind off leaving yarn attached to ball.
 
SOCKS!!
Time: Sat. Jan 23, 1-3pm; Sat. Feb 6, 1-4pm
Cost: $40+ materials
Instructor: Angela Dalton
Description: Learn to knit socks on double pointed needles or 2 circulars. Socks make a great gift and they make a wonderful take along project. Learn the basics of sock construction, heels, and toes.
Supplies: worsted weight yarn, 225 yards (adult socks) Set of US 4 or 5 double pointed needles or two 24" circulars
 
BEGINNING CROCHET
Time: Sunday Jan 24 1-3 pm and Feb.7 11-1pm
Cost: $40 + Materials---CLASS FULL

Description: In this two session class, Mimi will teach the basics of crochet: chaining, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet and triple crochet.
